Overtime, she's become more comfortable around Sekine, though often berates her for the way she treats her sometimes. Hisako often responds that it isn't her fault and that Sekine usually doesn't know what's considered too far.įorced to becoming Sekine's best friend due to their life style and their lack of relation to both Hisako and Iwasawa, they usually conduct their daily life together. Whenever Hisako corrects Sekine, Irie thanks her and apologizes for the trouble that she assumes she caused. Unlike Sekine, Hisako doesn't really punish Irie as much, often seeing her as a victim of Sekine's relentless brutality of misconduct. Sekine quickly enlisted Irie, beginning a private investigation on Iwasawa and the underlying cause of this development.īoth Irie and Sekine realized the anomaly itself in Chapter 5, when Iwasawa spoke up about wanting to hear Otonashi's story. When Iwasawa herself began to talk about topics that didn't fall under music, Irie was insanely shocked alongside the rest of Girls Dead Monster. Since Iwasawa doesn't have much to speak about other than her life and music, as well as being mostly shy herself, she finds it difficult to start conversations with her entirely.

Irie's views on Iwasawa aligns mostly with everyone: that she's a cool beauty who deserves something genuine.
